
The 7th Plenary Meeting of the SINNOGENES project took place on 26–27 March 2026 in Athens, Greece, fostering productive discussions and strong collaboration among project partners. The meeting opened with a warm welcome from the project coordinator, who presented the agenda and outlined the structure of the two-day event.

Sessions throughout the meeting addressed key milestones, as well as updates on progress, risk monitoring, and challenges across all work packages. Participants engaged in constructive discussions on risks, identified potential mitigation strategies, and defined next steps to ensure the project remains on track.
A key highlight of the meeting was the SINNOGENES External Advisory Board session], which provided valuable external insights and validation. The session began with a brief welcome and an outline of its objectives, including the type of feedback sought from the Advisory Board.

Section I focused on project-level convergence and validation, covering the project’s evolution since the previous Advisory Board meeting, the operational status of the toolkit and middleware, and key highlights from cross-demonstration validation activities.
Section II presented the integrated end-to-end operation through Demo 5 – Ikaria. This included an overview of the demo’s storyline, the involved end users, and its relevance to energy storage technologies. Particular emphasis was placed on end-user perspectives and goals, illustrating why stakeholders can rely on SINNOGENES, what the project abstracts for them, and the benefits delivered. The session also detailed the flow of actions within the Ikaria demo, results achieved so far, and the migration approach.

Section III was dedicated to an interactive Q&A, allowing Advisory Board members to provide feedback and raise key questions. The session concluded with a wrap-up summarizing the main takeaways, as well as outlining follow-up actions and expectations for the next External Advisory Board meeting.
