Energy storage technologies are crucial for the integration of renewable energy sources. Understanding and benchmarking the environmental performance of these solutions was critical in ensuring their sustainability. By applying the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology, we are able to design solutions that were truly sustainable and future-ready. In the 5th webinar of our Energy Talks series, we delved into the environmental benefits, challenges, and risks associated with energy storage systems. In this webinar, participants were also able to gain insights from practical examples and case studies from our sister projects i-Stentore and Agistin.
